Festivals are a huge draw to the California Desert each year. Kicking off festival season is Coachella Music Festival.  This is an ecletic ensemble of music, art, culture, and fun.  Mostly a younger crowd, the Coachella Festival brings in hundreds of thousands of people to the desert each year.

Following the Coachella Music Festival is the Stagecoach Festival.  This is located at the Indio Empire Polo Grounds as well.  This is a pure country music festival.  It brings in the biggest country music acts of current and past years.  You really can't go wrong with either of these festivals, it really just depends onw what music you interested in.

For the horse lovers and enthusiasts La Quinta and the Coachella Valley is Southern California's premier spot for everything Horses.  From Polo to competitive Horse Shows, the Coachella Valley has it all.  The Empire Polo Fields host the best matches in Polo each year.  The Desert International Horse Park hosts the most competitive horse shows that Southern California has to offer.  Whether you're a competitor, a viewer, or just interested in watching some amazing animals in action, staying in La Quinta has may options for you.
